About
The Otakudle project in a few words
What is Otakudle?
Otakudle is a free daily anime games website, in the spirit of Wordle-style games. Every day brings a new challenge: a character to name, an image that sharpens with every guess, an opening to recognise by ear, anime to rank, a grid of clues to decode. A round takes a few minutes; the habit, on the other hand, tends to stick.
Our mission
To turn anime knowledge into a game anyone can play, with no sign-up and no elitist leaderboard. The challenges mix well-known classics with deeper cuts, so newcomers discover as much as long-time fans test themselves. You improve without noticing: by meeting faces, songs and titles again and again, the map of anime slowly prints itself in your mind.
How it works
- One challenge per day and per mode, the same for everyone: perfect for comparing scores with friends.
- No sign-up: your progress and win streak stay in your browser.
- On desktop and mobile, with a touch-friendly selection built for phones.
- Public, verifiable data: the games rely on the AniList and MyAnimeList community databases, listed from the footer.
Go further
To play better, our anime guides explain how to recognise a character by their design, an anime by its opening, or how to place a series by genre and era.
A fan project
