Personal data

Otakudle is played without an account: by default, the site collects no personal data. An optional sign-in (via Google) unlocks the collection and leaderboards; it then involves the storage described below.

• Local storage: your settings, today's game state and your win streak are stored in your browser only. They are never sent to a server.
• “streak” cookie: a technical cookie (13 months) mirrors your win streak so it survives a local-storage cleanup. It contains no identifier and is not used for tracking.
• Save code: transferring progress between devices uses a code you copy yourself; nothing goes through our servers.

If you create an account (optional)

Sign-in uses Google (OAuth). We then store, with our processor Supabase: an account identifier and your Google email address, a username, and your server-side progress (daily scores, card collection, pack purchases). This data is used only to run the collection and leaderboards; only the username is public (on the leaderboards).

You can at any time export or permanently delete your account and all of this data from your “My account” page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to personalise ads and measure their performance. Where required (e.g. in Europe), your consent is collected through a dedicated banner before any advertising cookie is set; you can change it at any time.

Third-party services

• Anime databases: game data comes from public community APIs (AniList, Jikan/MyAnimeList); any visuals are served by their CDNs and used for identification.
• Vercel: the host produces technical logs (IP addresses, timestamps) required to operate and secure the service.

Intellectual property

Otakudle is a fan-made project for fun, not affiliated with the studios, publishers or rights holders of the works mentioned. Titles, character names and visuals remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes. Any takedown request can be sent to contact@otakudle.com.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification and erasure. Without an account, everything is managed in your browser (clearing site data). With an account, you can export and permanently delete all your data from the “My account” page. Any question: contact@otakudle.com.
